I am Seeker2 (a seeker too).

I am wondering if there is anyone here or reading who feels they have become "caught in the web" somehow. Lost in forum debates and discussions to the point where they no longer have the same relationship with God. No longer get visions or hear from God?

Les Keane you are right. I remember I loved to seek. I was hungry for the truth and spent all of my spare time on the computer searching and with my nose in books and printouts alone. My relationship with God was extremely close. I had visions, answers, leading and communication. Then, I joined an average sized forum and ended up spending all of my spare time discussing and debating with others instead, (and it wasn't always a nice experience, trust me), and it somehow led to where I am now.

However, I have just began 'An introduction to the Arts and Humanities' course, and it is awakening in me an old desire to seek again.

It would be good to hear from others who have experienced this. So, if anyone is reading and they have experienced a falling away from God due to, they feel, participating in some online forums, please chime in :)

This forum is peaceful and quiet and it feels ok.

The place had its good memories and I met a very close friend there but it turned bad after a while. It was only because of a few members (probably four out of twenty), everyone else was good. But what effect can daily online conversations and debate have on a person's faith? That is the question.

Someone should have told passingby that spraying "Raid" on your kitchen table was a bad idea. I happen to eat on that table as well.

Anyway it took three months to kill all those spiders. In the process food was placed on that table hundreds of times. Each time a little Raid took a ride to the mouth.

On the 93rd day I died.

.,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.I came back just to tell anyone who is listening~~~

If you have to kill a spider on your kitchen table, use your boot, not Raid, Ok
