Galatians 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Proverbs 16:10  ¶A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
11  ¶A just weight and balance are the LORD'S: all the weights of the bag are his work.
12  ¶It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
13  ¶Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
14  ¶The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
15  In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
16  ¶How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
17  ¶The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

Psalms 25:1  ¶<<A Psalm of David.>> Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2  O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3  Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4  Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6  Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7  Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
8  ¶Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9  The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10  All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Matthew 10:25  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31  Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32  Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Galatians 6:1  ¶Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2  Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3  For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4  But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5  For every man shall bear his own burden.
6  Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Proverbs 16:18  ¶Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
19  ¶Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20  ¶He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
21  ¶The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
22  ¶Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
23  ¶The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
24  ¶Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
25  ¶There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Psalms 25:11  For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12  What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13  His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14  The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15  ¶Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16  Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17  The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18  Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19  Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20  O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21  Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22  Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Matthew 10:33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39  He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40  He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41  He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
42  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Ephesians 1:1  ¶Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2  Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3  ¶Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Proverbs 16:26  ¶He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
27  ¶An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
28  A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
29  ¶A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
30  He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
31  ¶The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
32  ¶He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
33  ¶The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

Psalms 26:1  ¶<<A Psalm of David.>> Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
2  Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3  For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4  I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6  ¶I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
7  That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8  LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9  Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10  In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11  But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12  My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Matthew 11:1  ¶And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
2  Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
3  And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
4  Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5  The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6  And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
7  ¶And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
9  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Ephesians 1:15  ¶Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Proverbs 17:1  ¶Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
2  ¶A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
3  ¶The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.
4  ¶A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
5  ¶Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.
6  ¶Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
7  ¶Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
8  ¶A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
9  ¶He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

Psalms 27:1  ¶<<A Psalm of David.>> The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4  One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6  And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
